Chatarmin Review
WhatsApp marketing plus an omnichannel support inbox with ticketing for DACH ecommerce.
- From:

Chatarmin sells two products under one roof: WhatsApp marketing for ecommerce brands, and an AI customer service suite it brands armincx. The homepage leads with the marketing side, is written in German first and calls itself built for DACH, so read it as a WhatsApp-first tool for German-speaking Shopify shops that has grown a help desk, not the other way round. Chatarmin publishes pricing pages for its service and marketing products, but no figures: pricing is custom to your ticket volume and setup.

What it does
- Omnichannel inbox, ticketing that turns chats into trackable tickets, a workflow builder, and a central CRM holding customer data, tickets, channel interactions and purchase history, per the homepage
- AI agents that answer chats, plus a separate AI phone assistant pitched for 24/7 support
- Solution pages for where-is-my-order, returns, cancellation and refund, and invoice requests; we could not read them, but the service pricing page lists the AI's order use cases (see AI pricing below)
- WhatsApp marketing in the same account: newsletters, automated flows (abandoned cart, post-purchase, welcome) and lead-gen pop-ups
- Named integrations: Shopify (sold as a one-click setup), Klaviyo, Xentral, Billbee, Zendesk and Asana; "hundreds more" are claimed but not listed on the page we read
- The footer links separate APIs for Chatarmin and armincx, a help center and a system status page
- Channels on the service pricing page: unlimited email accounts, a web widget and a contact form in the inbox, plus Voice AI, a Socials add-on (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X) and a Marketplaces add-on (Amazon, eBay, Kaufland, Otto). Socials, marketplaces and voice are add-ons priced on request
Pricing at a glance
- Contact sales: Chatarmin has service and marketing pricing pages but publishes no figures. The service page says: "Every support setup is different. You get custom pricing that fits your ticket volume and your setup."
- The homepage nav has a "Preise" (pricing) link and the homepage promises "no hidden costs"; neither gives a figure or a billing basis
- Billing basis, minimum term, whether it meters seats, tickets or conversations, and whether marketing and service are priced separately: all unknown
- WhatsApp charges, per the marketing pricing page: user-initiated conversations are free, Meta's business-initiated charges are passed through as usage, and Chatarmin lists its "Conversation Markup" as EUR 0.00
AI pricing (not published where we looked)
- No AI price, allowance or overage rate appeared on the homepage
- The homepage claims the AI can automate "up to 70%" of customer service, with no method or baseline; treat it as a sales figure, not a forecast
- The service pricing page lists the AI's use cases: sending a tracking link, checking order status, registering a return, cancelling an order, requesting an invoice, changing an address, answering product questions, editing an order and resolving a payment issue, plus "99+ more". Refund is not named
- A list of use cases does not show how far each one goes. Make them run it on a real order in the demo, not a slide
- Whether the AI phone assistant is billed per minute, per call or inside a plan is unknown
Before you commit
- Get a written quote with the billing basis on every line; Chatarmin publishes no prices
- Two brands, two APIs: confirm armincx can be bought without the WhatsApp marketing product, and what you pay for if you only need the help desk
- The homepage shows an "ISO 27001 certified" badge beside its "ISO Zertifizierung" claim. Ask for the certificate and its scope before your security review relies on it
- Hosting in Germany and GDPR compliance are claimed on the homepage, which matters for EU brands; get the data processing agreement (the footer links an AVV) before signing
- The homepage gives two customer counts, "500+ brands" in one block and "300+ companies" in another. Minor, but it is the vendor's own page disagreeing with itself
- The site is German-first with an English toggle. Whether the product UI, help center and support work fully in English was not checked
- A status page exists but we did not read it, so we have no incident history to report
Who should buy it, and who should skip it
Who should buy
- DACH ecommerce brands on Shopify where WhatsApp already carries, or should carry, a real share of customer contact
- Teams that want WhatsApp marketing and service in one tool rather than a help desk plus a separate WhatsApp vendor
- Shops running Billbee or Xentral, two ERPs the homepage names as integrations
- Brands whose legal team wants German hosting written into the contract
Who should skip it
- Anyone who needs a published price before sitting through a demo
- Teams that need Instagram, TikTok or marketplace messages in the inbox without paying extra, since socials and marketplaces are add-ons priced on request
- Teams outside the German-speaking market that want an English-first vendor
- Buyers whose security review needs the ISO 27001 certificate and its scope on paper today; the homepage shows only a badge
How we checked this
Everything here comes from Chatarmin's German-language homepage, read on 2026-10-06, and its service pricing page and marketing pricing page, checked on 2026-10-12. chatarmin.com/pricing/ and /en/pricing return a 404, but the homepage's pricing link goes to /en/pricing-marketing, which links the service page. Neither page publishes a price; the channel list, the AI use cases and the WhatsApp markup come from them, and the only figure on either is in euros. We could not reach Chatarmin's product or integration pages, so no AI limit has been verified. Customer testimonials on the homepage were not treated as evidence of features. Headquarters and founding year are not stated on the page we read. No review-site text was used.
