Privacy and cookies

TopHelpDesks is run by Ridgeline Agency. We collect as little as we can: enough to see which pages help people, and whatever you choose to send us. We run no ads and we never sell data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, how people arrived (for example from a Google search), roughly where they are, and what kind of device they use. It sets cookies to tell one visit from the next. Google Analytics doesn't store IP addresses, and we keep this data for 14 months.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, nothing is counted unless you say yes. Everywhere else it is on by default. Either way you can change your answer at any time: .
What you send us
When you report a mistake, we keep what you write and, if you give them, your name and email, so we can check the report and reply. We use them for nothing else.
When you ask an expert for help choosing a help desk, we keep what you tell us (your name, work email and answers) and pass it to RidgelineRemote, Ridgeline Agency's support team, so an expert can reply. It goes into Ridgeline's sales system and is used to help you and follow up on your request, never sold or shared with help desk vendors without your say-so.
Links to help desks
When you follow a link to a help desk's website, we record which help desk, which of our pages you came from, and when. Nothing in that record identifies you. Some of those links are referral links that pay us a commission; a page says so wherever one appears, and commissions never change a ranking.
Who else handles data
Google (analytics), Lovable and Cloudflare (hosting the site) and Supabase (our database) process data on our behalf. Like any web host, they see the requests your browser makes.
Your choices
To change your cookie answer, use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. To ask what we hold about you, or to have a report you sent deleted, use the form at the bottom of How we rank and choose “Something else”.
