Prices are an agent a month, in US dollars. Source: front.com/pricing, checked .
Front charges per seat, and every plan below Enterprise has a hard seat cap. What moves the total is which plan your headcount forces you onto, how much work you hand to Autopilot, and whether your contract crosses $25,000 a year, where a paid onboarding package becomes mandatory.
How the plans differ
- Starter: $35 a seat billed monthly, $25 billed annually. Up to 10 seats, one channel type (email, Front Chat or SMS), one workspace, up to 10 automation rules
- Professional: $85 a seat billed monthly, $65 billed annually. Up to 50 seats, omnichannel including social, macros, up to 20 rules, up to 5 workspaces, SSO and SCIM
- Enterprise: $105 a seat, billed annually only. No seat cap, unlimited rules and macros, custom roles, a multi-language help centre, and Copilot, Smart QA and Smart CSAT included
- Each seat carries a channel allowance: 10 on Starter, 30 on Professional, 50 on Enterprise
- Front labels the annual toggle "Save 24%". On the listed prices the saving is 29% on Starter ($35 to $25) and 24% on Professional ($85 to $65)
Seat caps choose the plan for you
- Plans are assigned to the whole organisation, so you cannot keep some seats on Starter and put the rest on Professional
- The 11th agent moves all 11 seats to Professional. At annual rates that takes the bill from $250 a month (10 × $25) to $715 (11 × $65)
- The 51st seat moves everyone to Enterprise, which has no monthly option: 50 Professional seats cost $3,250 a month (50 × $65), 51 Enterprise seats $5,355 (51 × $105)
- Starter's single channel type is the other gate. A team answering email and chat needs Professional at any size
What the seat price leaves out
- Autopilot, the customer-facing AI agent, is billed per conversation on any plan, once, at the highest outcome it reached: $0.05 for triage (tagging and routing), $0.39 for a handoff (it drafted or sent a reply, or took an action, before a person took over), $0.89 for a resolution
- A resolution counts only when no teammate replies within 24 hours on Resolve, SMS, WhatsApp and custom channels, or 72 hours on email and the portal
- Autopilot is pay-as-you-go, invoiced monthly on actual usage. Volume discounts need a prepaid commitment. A 30-day trial covers up to 1,000 resolutions
- Copilot is $20 a seat a month on Starter and Professional, included in Enterprise
- Smart QA and Smart CSAT are included in Enterprise. The pricing page lists no price for them on Starter or Professional, so ask Front in writing whether they can be bought there and at what price
- Native WhatsApp (Professional and Enterprise): Meta's WhatsApp charges plus a 20% admin fee
- API rate limit increase: $200 per 100 requests a minute, per month, on any plan
- Phone is not built in. It comes through integrations such as Aircall or Dialpad, which bill you separately
Onboarding fees above $25,000 a year
- Front requires a paid onboarding package on contracts over $25k
- Its Success Services sheet lists Professional Onboarding at $10,000 for 25 hours and Enterprise Onboarding at $23,000 for 60 hours, with Enterprise Onboarding marked as required above $75K ARR
- Extra Success Services hours are sold in packs of 8 for $3,000
- On seat fees alone, the line falls at 33 Professional seats billed annually (33 × $65 × 12 = $25,740) or 20 Enterprise seats (20 × $105 × 12 = $25,200)
- So the first year for 33 Professional seats is $35,740 with Professional Onboarding, before any AI usage
Worked example: a 15-agent team on email, chat and Instagram
Billed annually, at list prices:
- Professional is the floor, because Starter stops at 10 seats and one channel type: 15 × $65 = $975 a month, $11,700 a year
- Copilot for all 15 adds 15 × $20 = $300, making $1,275 a month, $15,300 a year
- Enterprise instead: 15 × $105 = $1,575 a month, $18,900 a year, with Copilot, Smart QA and Smart CSAT included
- The extra $300 a month for Enterprise buys QA scoring, AI-inferred CSAT, custom roles, unlimited rules and the multi-language help centre. If your team would not use those, we would buy Professional with Copilot
- Billed monthly, Professional alone is 15 × $85 = $1,275 a month, the same as annual Professional with Copilot. Paying monthly costs exactly what Copilot would
- Autopilot on top: if it touches 2,000 conversations a month, resolving 600, handing off 800 and triaging 600, that is 600 × $0.89 + 800 × $0.39 + 600 × $0.05 = $534 + $312 + $30 = $876 a month. The mix is illustrative
Which plan fits which team
- Starter suits up to 10 agents working one channel, usually email. The monthly rate lets you start without an annual contract. The 14-day free trial runs on Professional features with no card, so list what you would lose before you drop to Starter
- Professional suits 11 to 50 agents, or any team on more than one channel
- Enterprise suits teams past 50 seats, or teams that would buy Copilot and QA for everyone anyway. It is annual only, and from 20 seats the onboarding requirement applies
How we checked this
- Plan prices, seat caps, channel rules, add-on prices and the billing FAQ: Front's pricing page, https://front.com/pricing, read 2026-10-29, including the monthly prices carried in the page's own data. Our pricing monitor last matched the plan table on 2026-10-23
- Autopilot outcome tiers, the resolution rule, billing and trial: Front's help article, https://help.front.com/en/articles/4890624, read 2026-10-29
- Onboarding packages and hours: Front's Success Services sheet, https://front.com/webassets/rebrand/Front_Success_Services_7_3.pdf, read 2026-10-29
- Phone through integrations: Front's pricing page, checked 2026-10-06
- Correction: our Front review reported two conflicting Autopilot figures, $0.05 per conversation and $0.89 per resolution. Front's help article lists both as tiers of one outcome-based price ($0.05 triage, $0.39 handoff, $0.89 resolution); the pricing page shows only the starting price
- The totals above are our arithmetic on Front's list prices.
