Re:amaze sells two ways. Basic, Pro and Plus are priced per team member with unlimited conversations, and Starter is one flat monthly fee for unlimited users with a cap on conversations. On top of both, AI Agent resolutions past the included allowance cost $0.85 each. The plan table above carries the figures and the date we last checked each one.
How the plans differ
- Basic covers the core inbox for one brand: unlimited email inboxes and social channels, live chat, chatbots, Cues proactive messages, a public and internal FAQ, macros and basic reporting
- Pro adds SMS and voice channels, multiple brands in one account, a live view of site visitors, advanced reporting, AI Intents, a custom hosted domain and a status page. Re:amaze marks it the most popular plan
- Plus adds the team-management layer: departments, custom staff roles, shifts and vacation days, staff performance reporting, customer satisfaction ratings, Peek screen sharing and in-chat video calls
- Starter has Basic's features for unlimited team members, limited to 500 responded conversations a month. The pricing page shows it only when switched to Monthly
- The 14-day trial runs on the full Plus feature set with no credit card. If you expect to buy Basic, test with Basic's features only
Who counts as a seat
- Re:amaze bills "anyone who has login credentials to manage or view conversations", so a founder or ops lead who only reads tickets is a paid seat on Basic, Pro and Plus
- Starter has no seat count, so occasional users cost nothing there
- Starter's cap counts what the help center calls active conversations: any conversation with at least one customer-facing reply from staff, a chatbot or an autoresponder. An autoresponder on every incoming email makes every conversation count toward the 500
What the headline price leaves out
- AI Agent overage. Basic includes 5 resolutions per user a month, Pro 10 and Plus 20; each one past that costs $0.85. A resolution is a thread the AI handles without escalating to a person, counted once however many messages it takes, and escalated threads are not billed
- The pricing page gives Starter no AI allowance. The help center lists it as a volume plan, and the AI billing article says volume plans bill every resolution at $0.85
- Overage can be switched off in Settings > AI Settings. Classic Chatbots then keep running at no charge, which works as a spending cap
- SMS and voice come with Pro and Plus, but none of the pages we read gives a per-message or per-minute rate. Get those in writing
- Multi-Brand can be added to Basic without moving to Pro, according to the help center. That add-on's price is not published
- Volume Pro and Volume Plus exist in the help center, and Starter's allowance can be raised, but neither is priced on the pricing page. Treat any flat plan above 500 conversations as a quote
Annual billing
- The pricing page says annual saves 10%, and the figures match: $26.10, $44.10 and $62.10 a month against $29, $49 and $69
- Re:amaze's subscription help article still says 5%. We follow the pricing page, and so does the table above
- Annual is offered on Basic, Pro and Plus only, and is charged for the whole year at the start. Users or upgrades added mid-year are charged pro rata for the days left
- Re:amaze states that all fees are non-refundable. Monthly billing has no contract and no cancellation fee, so a team that is unsure gives up the saving to keep the exit open
- Seasonal stores have another lever. An account can be suspended for up to six months without payment; it goes read-only, and everything is deleted after six months
Which plan fits which team
This is our reading of the figures above.
- One or two people, one brand, no texting: Basic. Two seats at $29 come to $58 a month, a dollar under Starter
- Three or more people handling fewer than 500 conversations a month for one brand: Starter. Three Basic seats are $87 billed monthly or $78.30 billed annually, both above $59, and every extra seat widens the gap
- Stores that text customers, take calls in the inbox or run a second storefront: Pro
- Teams whose lead needs CSAT, staff roles and per-agent reporting: Plus. Buy it for those features. Its extra 10 resolutions per seat are worth $8.50 at the overage rate, against $20 more a seat than Pro billed monthly ($18 annually)
- From Basic to Pro, 5 extra resolutions worth $4.25 cost $20 more a seat. The AI allowance never pays for an upgrade on its own
A worked example
Six agents on Pro, with the AI Agent resolving 200 conversations a month:
- Seats, billed annually: 6 × $44.10 = $264.60 a month, or $3,175.20 paid at the start of the year
- Included AI: 6 × 10 = 60 resolutions
- AI overage: (200 - 60) × $0.85 = 140 × $0.85 = $119.00
- Total on annual billing: $264.60 + $119.00 = $383.60 a month
- Total billed monthly: 6 × $49 = $294.00, plus $119.00, is $413.00 a month
- The same team on Plus, billed annually: 6 × $62.10 = $372.60; 120 resolutions included, so 80 × $0.85 = $68.00; total $440.60, or $57.00 a month more than Pro
- None of these include SMS or call charges, which Re:amaze does not publish
