Prices are an agent a month, in US dollars. Source: zendesk.com/pricing, checked .
Zendesk's plan price is the start of the bill, not the size of it. The advertised rate covers seats; the AI, the voice minutes, the phone numbers and several of the capabilities people assume are included are all metered or sold separately. This page is about the total, not the headline.
The billing basis
- Per agent, per month, and annual only - Zendesk publishes no monthly rate and the pricing page has no monthly toggle
- The advertised figure therefore assumes a twelve-month commitment; month-to-month is not offered publicly
- The plan table below carries the current figures with the date we last checked them
- Zendesk's documentation names five Suite plans; the customer service pricing page shows three of them plus a sales-led tier
What the plans cost
- Support Team $19: ticketing only - routing, saved responses, prebuilt dashboards
- Suite Team $55: adds AI agents, knowledge base, messaging, live chat and telephony
- Suite Professional $115: adds Admin Copilot, App Builder and writing tools. Marked Most Popular
- Suite Enterprise + Copilot: quoted, Talk to Sales, no published price
- Suite Growth sits between Team and Professional in Zendesk's documentation but does not appear on the customer service pricing page
What stacks on top
- Copilot: $50 per agent per month
- Workforce Engagement Bundle: $50 per agent per month
- Contact Center: $83 per agent per month, and includes one Minutes Block per user
- Advanced Security or Advanced Compliance: required for HIPAA, price not published
- Data Center Location: required to choose EU or APAC hosting, price not published
- High Volume API: lifts the rate limit to 2,500 requests a minute, 10-seat minimum
- Two $50 add-ons on a $115 plan is $215 an agent a month before any usage charges
Voice and numbers
- Voice is part of the Suite, billed on consumption once the plan allowance is used
- Minutes vary by call type, region, and whether the call was answered in-browser or forwarded
- US and Canada local numbers cost $1 a month; toll-free numbers $2
- Call transcription is $0.01 a minute and requires the Copilot add-on
AI is billed per outcome
- $1.50 per automated resolution on a committed plan, or $2.00 pay-as-you-go
- A resolution only counts when the issue is settled with no human agent involved
- Counted per conversation rather than per person, so one customer on two channels is two counts
- Confirmed after 72 hours of inactivity, once the AI's answer has been evaluated as relevant
- Unused allowance does not roll over into the next period
The cost that is not on the price list
- Data export requires Suite Growth or above, or Support Professional or above
- On Support Team and Suite Team you cannot export your data at all, at any price
- Even on a qualifying plan exports are off by default; the account owner must contact Zendesk support to switch them on
- CSV exports exclude ticket comments and descriptions; XML caps at 500MB, roughly 200,000 tickets
- If leaving later matters to you, the cheapest viable plan is not $19 or $55
How we checked this
Plan names and prices were read from Zendesk's rendered pricing page and confirmed by screenshot on 2026-09-22. Add-on prices come from the same page. Voice, number and transcription costs, the automated-resolution rules and the export restrictions come from Zendesk's own support documentation, and the API limits from its developer documentation. We left out two figures present in the pricing page's underlying code but not publicly offered: monthly rates, and a Suite Growth price. Prices change; the last-verified date on each tier is the one to trust.
