TeamSupport publishes three Support plans, each shown as a monthly figure billed annually, and every plan button says Get a Quote. Treat the list price as the floor. Chat, training, assisted import and the Insights analytics add-on are priced separately, and the contract fixes your seat count for the term.

How the billing works

  • Starter $45, Professional $65 and Scale $85 a month, billed annually. No price for monthly billing is published
  • The Support prices carry no "per user" label, but TeamSupport's terms of service calculate the licence fee as user licences times the price per user licence, and the Chat tab prices its plans "per month per user". We budget per user. Confirm it on your quote
  • Starter is capped at 5 users. Professional and Scale have no user cap
  • The terms bill the licence fee in advance, due on receipt, in US dollars before tax

How the plans differ

  • Starter: ticketing (reporting, customer and product pages, agent ratings, core integrations) and AI Productivity Tools, which edit and summarise text an agent writes
  • Professional adds Kevin, customer intelligence and distress signals, the customer portal, the knowledge base and one Customer Playbook
  • Kevin today does ticket assist, ticket summaries, knowledge base article creation and Ask Kevin. Auto-responding and routing are marked "Coming Soon" on the pricing page
  • Scale adds custom fields, automation, Broadcast (500 email messages a month for outages and product updates), three Playbooks and access to the paid Insights add-on
  • The step that matters is Professional to Scale. Automation and custom fields appear only on Scale, so any team that routes or tags tickets by rule is buying the $85 plan
  • Phone is not native on any plan. Calls are handled through call logs, a RingCentral integration and voicemail-to-email tickets

What the list price leaves out

  • Messaging and live chat: $15 a month per agent on every plan. The page says it includes Kevin at 3 chats per day per agent, with more available to buy at a price it does not list
  • The Chat tab also sells the chat product on its own at $29, $39 and $59 per user a month. Ask whether your quote uses those prices or the $15 add-on
  • Basic training: $2,000 on Starter, $1,500 on Professional, $1,000 on Scale. The page does not say whether it is a one-time fee or optional
  • Assisted data import: $1,000 for every 5,000 records on every plan. Self-serve import is complimentary. The page does not define a record
  • MLC basic training: $750 on every plan. The page doesn't define MLC, but the Chat tab uses the term for the messaging and live chat product, so it is probably chat training
  • Insights, Scale only: $270 a month for one designer and five viewers, plus a $1,000 line the page describes as basic training and 8 hours of dashboard preparation
  • More Playbooks cost $100 a month for up to 50. More Broadcast costs $100 a month for 10,000 messages
  • Other professional services: $250 an hour on Starter, $200 on Professional, $175 on Scale
  • The Chat tab lists add-ons for the chat product: an AI Package with Kevin at $12, a Chatbot at $99, an extra AI agent at $125 for 200 chats a month, SMS to Chat at $35 per number and WhatsApp at $65 for the first line and $30 for each after, a platform fee with WhatsApp message credits bought separately. Ask whether they attach to the $15 chat add-on too

The contract terms

  • You pay for every user licence ordered for the whole term, whether or not anyone uses it
  • Licences added mid-term run to the end of the current term, and the month you add them is charged in full
  • The agreement renews automatically for the same length and the same number of licences. Reducing seats or leaving takes written notice at least 30 days before renewal
  • Fee increases take effect at renewal, after at least 30 days' notice
  • Order the seats you need on day one and add as you hire. Adding one takes an email to support, and removing one waits for renewal

Which plan fits which team

  • Starter suits up to 5 agents answering by email who don't need a help centre. A sixth hire forces the move to Professional
  • Professional suits B2B software teams that want a customer portal and knowledge base and can sort tickets by hand
  • Scale suits teams that need rules, custom ticket fields or Insights reporting
  • DTC and Shopify stores: TeamSupport's integration list has no ecommerce platform and no order actions in the ticket, so none of the three plans is built for you

Worked example: 10 agents, billed annually

Assumes per-user plan prices, as the terms describe, and live chat for every agent.

  • Professional: 10 × $65 = $650, plus chat at 10 × $15 = $150, is $800 a month, or $9,600 a year
  • Add $1,500 basic training and the first year comes to $11,100 before tax
  • Scale: 10 × $85 = $850, plus $150 for chat, is $1,000 a month, or $12,000 a year. With $1,000 training the first year is $13,000, so the $2,400 yearly gap shrinks to $1,900 in year one
  • Insights on Scale adds $270 × 12 = $3,240 a year, plus the $1,000 setup line
  • Importing 20,000 records with TeamSupport's help adds 4 × $1,000 = $4,000
  • For 5 agents, Starter is 5 × $45 × 12 = $2,700 a year and Professional $3,900. After training ($2,000 against $1,500) the first-year gap is $700
  • If TeamSupport quotes the plan as one account price instead, 10 agents on Professional with chat would be $65 + $150 = $215 a month. Settle that on the first sales call
