Self-hosted WooCommerce plugin for order-linked support tickets in wp-admin.

Facts checked:

Helpdesk Support Ticketing System for WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin from WPFactory that puts a ticket queue inside wp-admin and a ticket form inside the customer's My Account page. It is not a SaaS help desk: you install it on your own store, pay for a licence rather than per agent, and the tickets sit in your own WordPress database. Compare it with Gorgias or Zendesk only if your support is mostly web-form tickets about orders, from customers who log in.

What it does

  • Customers open tickets from a Tickets tab in WooCommerce My Account and see their ticket history there (product page)
  • A ticket can be linked to one of the customer's orders; the agent jumps from the ticket to the WooCommerce order in one click
  • Agents reply in wp-admin: threaded replies, attachments with configurable file types and size, private notes, bulk actions
  • Four priorities (critical, high, medium, low) and five statuses (Open, In progress, On hold, Resolved, Closed) whose titles you can rename
  • Customers pick a subject from your list; in Pro each subject can have its own assignee, and a Default Assignee gets the rest (assignment docs)
  • Email notifications per event (new ticket, reply, status change, closed), with editable subject, body and recipients
  • Shortcodes place the form or the ticket list on any page; guest submissions can be allowed or blocked
  • Unlimited agents, no per-agent fee
  • The free version on WordPress.org covers ticket creation, threaded replies and basic admin. Attachments, private notes, agent assignment, role-based access, shortcodes and custom emails are Pro only
  • Missing: the pages we read do not describe inbound email-to-ticket, live chat, social, phone or SMS channels, a knowledge base, canned replies, SLA timers, CSAT, a mobile app or AI. There is a Dashboard tab, but the page does not say what it reports

Prices in US dollars. Source: wpfactory.com/item/helpdesk-support-ticketing-system-for-woo…, checked .

  • One licence per buyer, not priced per agent, per ticket or per inbox
  • Lifetime: $149 paid once, unlimited sites, lifetime updates, priority email support
  • Annual: $49.99 a year for 1 site, including a year of updates and support. That is per year for the licence, not per month. Auto-renews unless you switch it off
  • Lifetime costs the same as three years of Annual ($149 against $149.97). If you expect to keep it past year two, buy Lifetime
  • Free: the core plugin on WordPress.org, $0
  • All Access bundle: $499 paid once for this plugin plus WPFactory's other 50+ plugins, unlimited sites, shown against a struck-through $999 and a "$1,990 if bought separately" figure. That is $350 more than Lifetime alone
  • Refunds: 14 days on Annual and Lifetime, 30 days on All Access
  • GPL-licensed, so agencies can put it on client sites
  • The licence is the whole vendor bill. Hosting, outbound email (the page lists WP Mail SMTP and FluentSMTP as tested) and developer time are yours to pay for

AI pricing

  • Nothing to price: neither the product page nor the assignment docs describe an AI feature
  • No AI replies, drafts, summaries, translation or intent detection. The only automation described is the subject-to-assignee rule
  • If you are pricing this against Gorgias or Help Scout, the $149 replaces the inbox, not the automation

Before you commit

  • Agents need a WordPress role that can edit pages. The docs recommend Shop manager or Editor, so there is no ticket-only seat, and a seasonal or outsourced agent ends up with access well beyond support. The product page's "three roles, clean boundaries" is not what the docs describe
  • Automatic assignment works for one WordPress role, and whichever role is showing in the settings field gets ticket access when you save. Check it before you click Save
  • No round-robin or load balancing: a ticket goes to its subject's assignee or the Default Assignee, and after that you reassign by hand
  • Inbound email is not described. Ask whether a customer's reply to a notification email lands in the ticket thread, because customers will reply to it
  • Security history from the changelog: Missing Authorization fixes in 2.1.0 (2025-10-29) and 2.1.2 (2025-12-26), a Broken Access Control fix in 2.1.3 (2026-01-14), then nonces, input sanitizing and output escaping added in 2.2.0 (2026-09-25)
  • The queue holds order details and customer attachments, so keep it updated, and ask whether the Pro build got those fixes on the same dates
  • Version numbers conflict: the changelog gives v2.2.0 as the latest release, but the same page says "v3.0.4 shipped recently". We found no separate Pro changelog
  • Tickets are stored as a WordPress custom post type in your own database. In our experience that puts backups, GDPR erasure requests and stopping staging copies from emailing real customers on your plate
  • WPFactory claims 300+ stores. With a user base that small, fewer people will have hit the edge cases before you
  • Vendor support is by email, which the page says usually replies the same business day

Who should buy it, and who should skip it

Who should buy

  • Small WooCommerce stores where nearly every ticket is about an order and customers already log in
  • Digital-goods and licence-key sellers, where seeing the order behind a ticket answers the first question
  • Owner-run teams of one to three people who already have Shop manager access
  • Agencies running several client WooCommerce stores, since Lifetime covers unlimited sites under GPL

Who should skip it

  • Anyone not on WooCommerce
  • Stores where customers email an address, or reach you on chat, Instagram, WhatsApp or phone
  • Teams using outsourced or temporary agents who should not be able to edit products, pages or orders
  • Support leads who need SLA timers, CSAT or reporting to run the team
  • Stores with nobody to keep WordPress plugins patched
  • Anyone who wants AI to deflect or resolve tickets

How we checked this

Prices were read on 2026-10-07 from the pricing block on WPFactory's product page. There is no separate pricing page: both pricing URLs we tried returned 404. The Lifetime card rendered in the page text. The Annual tab did not on 2026-10-07; its terms (1 site, a year of updates and support, auto-renew you can switch off, 14-day refund) were confirmed from the same page on 2026-10-12. Features were checked against the same page and against WPFactory's assignment documentation (marked updated 2026-09-27), also on 2026-10-07. We did not read the other documentation pages in this check (notifications, attachments, customer ticket form, replies), the refund policy or the About page, so we could not confirm whether inbound email exists, whether notifications work without Pro, or where the company is based.

WPFactory's own pages contradict each other in several places, and we have recorded each conflict instead of choosing the better-sounding version:

  • Version: v2.2.0 against v3.0.4
  • Minimum WordPress version: 4.4 in the compatibility panel, 6.2 in the 2.2.0 changelog
  • Shortcode names: [wpf_tickets_form] and [wpf_tickets_list] on the product page, [stsw_user_tickets] in the docs
  • The agent model: a dedicated Agent role on the product page, any page-editing role in the docs
  • Lifetime price: $149 on this page, against a "$199" lifetime licence used as an example on the same page

We did not use the page's competitor price comparison or its unnamed customer case studies. No review-site text was used.
