Klaviyo Helpdesk Review

Visit Klaviyo Helpdesk

Help desk inside Klaviyo that ties support tickets to marketing profiles and orders.

Facts checked:

Klaviyo Helpdesk is the support inbox Klaviyo has built into its own marketing platform, so the ticket and the email list share one customer profile. That is the whole case for it: support can stop a campaign while a ticket is open and fire a flow when it closes, from the same customer profile the marketing team uses. Klaviyo itself says the product is currently aimed at small teams working a single shared inbox, and that is the right way to read everything below.

What it does

  • Unified inbox for email, chat, SMS, WhatsApp and Instagram DMs (product page)
  • Order history, subscriptions, browsing history, loyalty status, marketing activity and past tickets sit beside each message
  • Macros insert canned replies with customer data auto-filled; built-in automations tag and assign tickets
  • AI tags and routes tickets and drafts a reply from the conversation and customer history for an agent to review and send
  • Spam is filtered before it reaches the inbox
  • Custom views for segments such as VIPs, recent buyers or likely repeat purchasers
  • Ticket close can trigger a flow (winback, review request, replenishment reminder), update a segment or pause a campaign
  • Campaigns can pause automatically for any customer with an open ticket
  • Reporting on ticket volume, resolution trends, response times and CSAT
  • Handoffs from Klaviyo's separate Customer Agent arrive with the conversation context attached
  • Missing: phone/voice and Facebook Messenger are not among the listed channels; Klaviyo says more channels are coming
  • Missing: no message translation, so agent and customer must share a language
  • Missing: the page shows order data in the ticket but does not describe editing, cancelling or refunding an order from it; ask in the demo

Pricing at a glance

  • Self-serve, priced by monthly ticket volume on the pricing page's Service calculator, in USD
  • 50 tickets a month for $10 a month, 100 for $20, 200 for $40, 500 for $98, 800 for $151, up to 5,000 for $673
  • The calculator shows the total per month, and we saw no annual billing option
  • Going over your ticket allowance: Klaviyo's pricing FAQ says it warns you in advance and offers an upgrade, and does not charge unexpected fees
  • Free plan: $0 with no monthly charge, capped at 250 active profiles, 500 email sends a month, $5 of mobile messages a month and $5 of Composer usage a month
  • The pricing page lists Helpdesk features (ticketing, omnichannel, AI and automation, real-time reporting) under its free-platform overview but gives no ticket allowance, so whether a usable free Helpdesk tier exists is unconfirmed
  • The product page advertises a 30-day free trial alongside the Helpdesk plan block

AI pricing

  • Helpdesk's own AI (tagging, routing and drafted replies) carries no separate price
  • Customer Agent, the AI that answers shoppers, is priced separately by AI conversations a month: 75 for $50, 200 for $140, 350 for $245, up to 5,000 for $3,500, about $0.70 a conversation, after a one-off free trial of 50 conversations
  • What the Helpdesk AI does: tagging, routing and drafted replies an agent approves
  • What it does not do yet: conversation summaries are listed as coming soon
  • What it can't do: translate messages; nothing on the page says it can change or refund an order

Before you commit

  • Klaviyo's own FAQ says Helpdesk is best for small CX teams on a shared inbox; advanced workflow organisation, intent-based routing and deeper analytics are roadmap, not product
  • Two of the features a growing team wants (summaries, more channels) are promises with no date. Buy on what ships
  • The ecommerce context and the campaign pause only pay off if Klaviyo already runs your email and SMS; without that, this is a basic inbox with a marketing suite attached
  • No translation is a hard stop for brands selling into several languages with one support team
  • On the free plan, Klaviyo's own email support ends after the first 60 days
  • We could not confirm SLAs, roles and permissions, SSO, an audit log, a Helpdesk API, data export, data residency or an uptime figure from the pages we read. Ask for each in writing
  • Klaviyo's pricing FAQ says going over your ticket allowance brings an upgrade offer, not a surprise charge. Get that in writing before the trial clock runs out

Who should buy it, and who should skip it

Who should buy

  • DTC brands already sending email and SMS through Klaviyo who want support inside the same account
  • Small support teams working a single shared inbox, which is the team Klaviyo says it built for
  • Teams that have been burned by a discount email landing on a customer mid-complaint; the open-ticket campaign pause fixes exactly that

Who should skip it

  • Phone-first support teams
  • Brands supporting customers in languages their agents don't speak
  • Larger teams that need intent routing, layered workflows or serious reporting today
  • Anyone who wants AI or agents to cancel, edit or refund orders from the ticket, until Klaviyo documents that it can
  • Shops whose marketing runs on another platform

How we checked this

Everything here was read from Klaviyo's own Helpdesk product page and pricing page on 2026-10-07; both were served in the Spanish-language locale, and the English-language pages may word things differently. The pricing page draws its figures in JavaScript, so on 2026-10-12 we rendered its Service calculator in Chrome (again in the Spanish locale, priced in USD) and read the Helpdesk ticket tiers, the monthly total, the Customer Agent conversation tiers and the FAQ on going over your allowance. The product page's plan block shows the same 200 tickets a month for 40 USD, alongside a 30-day free trial. The pricing page also lists Helpdesk features under its free plan without stating a ticket allowance, which we have recorded as unresolved rather than assumed. No review-site text was used.
