Minnas Review

Visit Minnas

Support workspace for small ecommerce teams with a shared inbox and AI drafts.

From:
$49/mo
Facts checked:

Minnas is a shared inbox for ecommerce teams of roughly one to five people, made by Toothpaste Apps. It puts forwarded email and a website chat widget (Messenger) into one Inbox, and shows synced customers and recent orders from Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce beside each conversation. The pitch is a flat price per Workspace with unlimited Teammates on paid plans. The catch is that Minnas's own pages give two different price lists.

What it does

  • One Inbox for two channels: a forwarded support email address and Messenger on your website (source)
  • Messenger can be published through the Shopify theme editor, or added to any site, including a storefront you built yourself (source, homepage)
  • Store connections for Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce sync customers and orders; matched recent orders show order number, status and total beside the conversation (source)
  • WooCommerce connects with read-only access approved in WordPress, so you don't paste API keys (source)
  • A store connection is optional. Email and Messenger work without one (source)
  • Assignment, tags, internal notes, saved replies, and open, snoozed and closed statuses (source)
  • Help articles and Guided flows inside Messenger (source, source)
  • AI drafts replies, summarizes long threads and automates repeatable work; automatic AI replies can be turned on or off (homepage, source)
  • A coding agent that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol) can set up branding, Messenger, help answers and Guided flows with your approval. It cannot read conversations or customers, manage billing or connect a store (source)
  • Up to five Brands in one unified Inbox on Pro (homepage)
  • Missing: none of the pages we read lists phone, SMS, WhatsApp or social DMs as a channel. Minnas itself says teams that need phone-center operations or workforce planning should look at a broader help desk (source)

  • Flat price per Workspace, not per user. Human conversations are unlimited on every plan (homepage)
  • Free: $0, no card. One Brand, one Teammate, one connected store, 20 AI actions a month, 30-day conversation history (homepage, source)
  • Core: $49 billed monthly, or $490 billed annually (about $40.83 a month). One Brand, unlimited Teammates, 500 AI actions a month, unlimited history (homepage, source)
  • Pro: $99 billed monthly, or $990 billed annually (about $82.50 a month). Up to five Brands, one unified Inbox, 2,500 AI actions a month pooled across Brands (homepage)
  • Annual billing works out to two months free on both paid plans
  • The tier gate is people, not volume. Adding a second person to answer email moves you from $0 to $49 billed monthly. Adding a second storefront moves you to $99 billed monthly
  • Shopify stores can stay on Free without approving a charge (homepage)
  • There is no standalone pricing page. minnas.ai/pricing/ returned a 404 on 2026-10-07, so these figures come from the pricing block on the homepage
  • Conflict: Minnas's help-center article on plans (updated 2026-07-19) gives a different model. It says pricing depends on handled conversations, with Core at $9 a month for up to 500, a "Team" plan at $19 a month for up to 2,000, $5 a month for founding customers, and a 14-day trial without a card (source). The homepage and the comparison page (reviewed 2026-09-07) both say $49 and $99 with unlimited conversations. We publish the homepage figures as current and record the conflict. Ask Minnas which one your invoice will follow

AI pricing (allowances published, overage not)

  • Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI actions: 20 on Free, 500 on Core, 2,500 pooled on Pro (homepage)
  • AI also has a daily allowance. Minnas says so but does not publish the number on any page we read (source)
  • None of the pages we read defines what counts as an "AI action". A drafted reply, a summary and an automatic reply could each count as one, or not
  • None of them says what happens when you run out: whether AI stops, you pay overage, or you're pushed to the next plan
  • On Free, automations, saved replies and help articles also have allowances, and the limits are not published on the pages we read (source)
  • What it can't do: no page we read describes the AI, or an agent, editing, cancelling or refunding an order from Minnas. Store data is described as "synced context", and the WooCommerce connection is read-only (source)

Before you commit

  • Get the price in writing. The vendor's two price lists disagree on the model (flat vs. by volume), the plan names (Pro vs. Team) and the figures
  • Order context is not live. Minnas says it depends on an authorized connection, a successful sync and matching customer details, and is "not a promise of complete order history or live inventory" (source). In practice, a customer who writes in from a different email than the one they ordered with will often show no order
  • Free keeps 30 days of history. Don't run real support on it for long unless you're fine losing access to older threads (source)
  • Migration is light. Imports are conversation CSV files under 10 MB with a name or email and a message body. Attachments, rules and the original fields do not carry over automatically (source)
  • Not found on any page we read: uptime figure or status page, SLA, SSO, roles and permissions, audit log, security certifications, data residency, support hours
  • Minnas's comparison pages are written by Minnas, and it says so (source). We used them only for facts about Minnas
  • Toothpaste Apps is named as the maker; HQ and founding year were not stated on any page we read (homepage)

Who should buy it, and who should skip it

Who should buy

  • Owner-led stores where one to five people answer email and site chat between other jobs
  • WooCommerce and BigCommerce shops that are tired of help desks built only for Shopify
  • Custom or headless storefronts that need a chat widget they can drop in
  • Stores that bring in seasonal or part-time helpers, since Core's Teammate count doesn't change the bill
  • Operators running two to five small storefronts who want one Inbox for $99 billed monthly

Who should skip it

  • Anyone who needs phone, SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook DMs in the same queue
  • Teams that want agents or AI to cancel, edit or refund orders without opening the store admin
  • Buyers who need SSO, an uptime SLA or compliance paperwork before signing
  • Support departments past about five people, which Minnas itself steers elsewhere
  • Stores moving years of history with attachments from another help desk

How we checked this

Plan names, prices and allowances were read on 2026-10-07 from the pricing block on the Minnas homepage. The text loaded without JavaScript and shows monthly and annual figures side by side. No screenshot was taken, and https://minnas.ai/pricing/ returned a 404, so a human should confirm the rendered block before publishing. On 2026-10-07 we also read the ecommerce helpdesk page (last updated 2026-09-13), Minnas vs Gorgias (reviewed 2026-09-07), the help-center articles Connect a coding agent to Minnas (updated 2026-08-04) and How do Minnas plans and teammates work? (updated 2026-07-19). The plans article contradicts the homepage on the pricing model and figures, and we recorded the conflict rather than picking one silently. We could not load the channels article, the privacy and terms pages or the support page, so channel absences above are limited to "not listed on the pages we read". No review-site text was used.
