Redo Review
Post-purchase platform for Shopify brands with an AI support inbox and ticketing.
- From:
- Contact sales
Redo sells itself as the post-purchase platform for ecommerce brands: returns, claims, shipping, order tracking, email and SMS, with an AI-powered support inbox as one of fifteen priced products. The case for its help desk is that the agent and the AI see the return, the shipment and the order in one place. So this is a different purchase from a standalone help desk. The inbox gets more useful the more of Redo you already run.

What it does
- AI Sales & Support, described as "every conversation, one AI-powered inbox", which consolidates support channels. The pricing page does not say which ones
- Unlimited AI co-pilot responses for human agents come with the Support product
- The inbox is "integrated with all other Redo systems", meaning returns, claims, order tracking and shipping, which is the main reason to choose it
- Support AI Agents reply on autopilot, sit on product detail pages, cancel an order, edit an order, edit a shipping address and upsell on site
- Support AI Agents can be added to "any support tool", so you don't have to move off your current help desk to use them
- Commerce Agent handles returns, exchanges, product questions and recommendations by text, shown on SMS, iMessage and RCS
- Free returns portal with return-specific AI agents, and a free claims portal for lost, damaged or stolen packages
- White-glove onboarding is included with every product
- Missing: none of the pages we read gives a channel list for the inbox, mentions phone or voice, or documents routing, SLAs, macros or roles. We could not confirm these are absent. Redo just doesn't publish them where a buyer would look
Pricing at a glance
- Billed per resolution or per order, not per seat. The pricing page gives no seat price, no monthly minimum and no monthly or annual billing basis
- Support (the inbox): $0.20 per resolution, billing cadence not published
- Support AI Agents: $0.99 per resolution, billing cadence not published
- Returns AI Agents: custom pricing, contact sales
- Email AI Agents: custom pricing, contact sales
- Commerce Agent: "available free for a limited time" on the homepage. It is not on the pricing page, and no end date or later price is published
- Other products a support team uses daily: Returns free, Claims free, Reclaim chargeback representment free, Order tracking $0.08 per tracked order
- Our arithmetic, assuming each closed conversation counts as one resolution: 2,000 resolutions a month on Support costs $400. If AI Agents resolve 500 of those and the two meters stack, add $495
- The homepage says no contracts and cancel any time
AI pricing
- Two AI meters. Co-pilot drafting is unlimited inside Support's $0.20 per resolution, and autopilot is $0.99 per resolution
- Not published: what counts as a resolution, whether an AI-resolved conversation costs $0.99 alone or $0.99 plus $0.20, whether handoffs to a human are billed, and whether a spending cap exists
- What it can do: cancel an order, edit an order, change the shipping address, upsell. Commerce Agent demos show it creating an exchange, checking live tracking and adding an item to an open order
- What we could not confirm: refunds are not among the Support AI Agents actions on the pricing page, and nothing we read says whether it can touch a fulfilled order
Before you commit
- Get "resolution" defined in writing for the $0.20 human inbox. Charging per resolution for human-handled tickets is unusual. Where-is-my-order tickets that reopen after a carrier delay are where counts double
- Ask whether the $0.20 and $0.99 meters stack on the same conversation. The answer can change your bill by a factor of six
- Commerce Agent is free "for a limited time". Ask what it costs after that and how you will be told
- The inbox's advantage is its link to Redo's returns, claims and tracking. If those run on other apps, you lose most of the reason to pick this inbox over a standalone desk
- The homepage footer shows SOC 2 and GDPR badges. The SOC 2 report type, data residency and any uptime commitment are not stated on the pages we read
- No published channel list: confirm email, chat and social DMs in the demo before you plan a migration
- Data export and migration are not documented on the pages we read
- The demo form lists Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce and "Other", and the site title calls Redo a Shopify returns app. Non-Shopify shops should check how deep the integration goes
Who should buy it, and who should skip it
Who should buy
- Shopify brands already running returns, claims or order tracking on Redo, where most tickets are "where is it" or "can I swap it"
- Teams that want AI to edit orders and addresses rather than just explain how, and will pay per resolution for it
- Brands that want to sell and support over text and can test Commerce Agent while it is free
Who should skip it
- Phone-first support teams
- B2B sellers with named accounts and contract SLAs
- Teams that need a fixed, predictable monthly support bill
- Anyone who has to check routing, permissions, SLAs and channel coverage in documentation before booking a demo
- Brands happy with their current help desk that only want AI order actions. Add Support AI Agents to your existing tool and don't switch inboxes
How we checked this
Prices were read from the text of Redo's pricing page (redo.com/pricing) on 2026-10-07. Product claims, the Commerce Agent promotion, the platform list and the security badges were read from the homepage (redo.com) the same day. The pricing page groups products under tabs, so a human should confirm the Support and Support AI Agents figures from a screenshot of the rendered page before publication. Redo publishes no monthly or annual billing basis, so none is stated here. We also tried to read the AI Sales & Support product page, the integrations page and the help center, but those reads did not complete, so nothing here comes from them. The channel list, the meaning of "resolution", whether the meters stack, HQ and founding year are all unverified. Merchant results quoted on Redo's homepage are vendor-reported and were not used. No review-site text was used.
